"Coffee Dates From Hell" - Jim Tilberry : E-Book Review
In this book Tilberry describes coffee dates that go horribly wrong. However he does mention in the beginning that sometimes coffee dates go very well and the two people end up very happy. But this book isn't about that.
Tilberry describes coffee dates between Abraham Lincoln and Mary Todd, Krystal Martin and King Henry the VIII, and Rebecca Gordon and Harry Houdini. Tilberry uses a comical approach to these dates that often makes the reader laugh out loud.
In addition to the bad dates, Tilberry talks about coffee shops that are also extremely bad. Coffee shops with monkeys, simulating airplanes, and a barn coffee shop. All sound interesting- but they all go horribly wrong.
This book is a great summer read that will have you laughing and counting your lucky stars that you haven't been on a date as bad as these ones! (Or maybe you have! In which case you will be reminiscing about your bad date and having a little chuckle at yourself too!)
I believe this book would be great on the beach or maybe while you are sipping your morning coffee!
