Raw Organic Unfiltered Shea Butter Review & Giveaway

Good Morning Everyone!

My skin always seems to be super dry no matter what season it is. The dry air of the winter makes my skin dry, the summer sun makes my skin dry... So I am constantly on the lookout for lotions or products that will help with my dry skin.

Another problem that I am always trying to fix is the dry skin on my feet. I wear a lot of sandals and for some reason that really makes my feet rough and dry on the bottoms. Being a college student I can't afford to get pedicures often (unless mom offers). So I also need a lotion that can make a huge difference on my feet.

A third problem I have during the summer is my hair gets super frizzy because of all of the humidity! I can't afford to buy super expensive anti-frizz products. Plus a lot of products make my hair feel crispy & heavy which I absolutely hate.

So when I got the opportunity to try out this Raw Shea Butter from Beauty By Shea. I was really excited!

The first thing I noticed was the packaging. The paper bag was nice and inside it was a ziplock bag with the shea butter inside. I wasn't a huge fan of the packaging but that isn't a very important part of the product now is it?

The second thing I noticed was how much I had gotten. There was a ton of Shea Butter in this bag. It should last me a super long time! I love that! I hate when you go to a beauty store spend $40 on something that will last you a month.

First I used this product as a moisturizer on my legs and feet. I immediately noticed a huge difference! My feet were super soft and my legs shined in the light. (Something I always admired about my mom when I was a kid... haha!) Then I got a little more adventurous and used just a little bit in my hair to contain frizz and I have to say it really helped! I had always heard to put lotion in your hair to help contain it so I thought this Shea Butter might work- and it did! It didn't make my hair greasy and it wasn't heavy either. I really love it.

A little bit of this Shea Butter goes a long way. You just need to take a tiny tiny bit, maybe the size of a nickel (I'd suggest even smaller, maybe a dime, for hair) and rub it between your hands to soften it up and then apply wherever you'd like!
