Old Factory Candle Gift Set Review & Giveaway!

I love candles. I always have one burning in my bedroom when I am in there. I think that they can set a tone in your room that is relaxing and warm. I also think candles make a great gift. When I am shopping for someone I don't know very well or someone who is particularly difficult to shop for candles are almost always a great choice.

Over the years I have had a lot of different candles. I mostly bought from Yankee Candle because my school did a fundraiser with them. However I find those candles to be over priced- so I have been buying candles that aren't as expensive. The problem with that is that they usually don't smell as nice or last as long.

I recently got the opportunity to try out Old Factory Candle. Their candles are made with natural soy wax and self-trimming candle wicks. The gift sets include 3 scented themed candles.  I chose the theme Vacation, which indluded "Sea Breeze", "Hawaiian Lei", and "Awapuhi".  There are 12 different themes that you can choose from! I love the themed options because it is such an easy way to personalize the gift of candles! Instead of buying a generic vanilla candle you could get the "Man Cave" set, or the "New Born Baby" set. There are tons of options!

One thing that I really love about the Old Factory Candles is that they are made in the US. It is so hard to find good brands that are manufactured in USA, and so I think it is important to support the ones that do. When someone purchases from this company it is helping our economy- and we sure do need the help!

When I got my set it was gift wrapped through Amazon. I liked how nicely the box was wrapped. If I had been giving them away it really would have saved me time! I was also given the option to fill out a card and attach it to the gift- which was another time saver.

I opened the box and was instantly excited for my candles! I opened the three jars and smelled each one and fell in love with each smell. I had a really hard time deciding which one to burn first but I eventually chose the Sea Breeze candle. It is freezing here in Massachusetts, so a little vacation ambiance was needed badly.

I used this candle for a week or so before I decided to switch it. I still have some of it left but I wanted a change! I changed it to the Hawaiian Lei candle and was just as pleased. The Sea Breeze had a stronger smell but the Hawaiian Lei is just as beautiful!

The candles are pretty small, and initially I was saddened by that. However I found that they really last a long time despite their size. (A pleasant surprise!)

I have yet to burn the Awapuhi but I am looking forward to the day that I get to!

Old Factory Candles has given me the opportunity to host a giveaway for my readers! So get those entries in to win a set of 3 Old Factory Candles- worth $25!
